Our Kickboxing/Boxing program trains 4 times a week. Classes run Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 6:30 pm, and Saturday at 10:00 am. Our boxing/kickboxing program is under one membership and you can come to all four classes.
Our amateur boxing/kickboxing program has been in development for decades. Our head coach has been involved in the two sports since 1985 as an athlete, as a coach, and as an official.
Our coaches are certified and experienced, with Head Coach John Stanley being the only level three coach in the North. Coach John has produced 11 National Champions, five of whom come from Yellowknife. He’s also developed over 35 provincial champions throughout Newfoundland, Alberta, and the NWT.
You do not have to be a champion in our gym, but we will teach you to conduct yourself as one. We are the only active competition gym in the NWT and are affiliated with NWT Kickboxing and Boxing Canada. Our competitive program is designed to develop a complete range of skills while allowing each athlete to develop a style more suitable for them. We focus on the three C’ s of a champion. Coachability, Concentration, and conditioning.
If you want to train like a fighter without getting hit, then you will love our rec adult boxing/kickboxing program. We focus on fundamental boxing skills, self-defense, and conditioning.
