There are some new ways that we will be moving forward with the gym and our classes, but we hope to be back to our old normal as quickly as possible.

Please read over all the notes below as they are ESPECIALLY important to follow. Unfortunately, if these steps are not followed, it may prevent us from continuing to run the gym, so please take the time to read through everything.

Stanley Boxing & Fitness Exposure Control Plan


  • Please do not show up for classes more than 7 minutes before class. If you show up more than 7 minutes before your class, you will be asked to wait outside the building
  • Please do not show up late for class as you will not be permitted into the gym
  • Please wear a mask when you enter the building
  • Please wear a mask while checking in
  • Please do not take off your mask until you’re in your gym room
  • Please use hand sanitizer as soon as you enter the gym
  • Please leave immediately following the end of class
  • Please come dressed in your gym gear to classes when possible
  • Washrooms/Change Rooms are to be used by 4 people at a time only
  • Please make sure you register for your class using the PushPress Members App before your class. If you are not registered for the class, you will not be permitted into the gym
  • Fitness classes will be capped at 12 people per class when the boxing room is being used, 18 when we can use both rooms
  • Boxing classes will be capped at 18 people
  • Kids kickboxing classes will be capped at 20 kids
  • Boxers and kickboxers must have their own gloves
  • If you wish to hit pads, both the pad holder and puncher must be wearing a non-medical mask, so please bring your own mask or you will not be able to hit pads
  • Drop-ins are allowed, however, punch-passes must be purchased online beforehand and you must register for a class beforehand. Please do not just show up to the gym for your first class
  • No children who are not in a program will be permitted to “hang out” while parents workout

Facility and Equipment

  • Please sanitize yourself often while in the gym
  • Please wipe down all equipment before and after use
  • We will adjust our schedules to run shorter 50-minute classes to allow extra cleaning after each class and to prevent overlap of members coming and going
  • The new class schedule is online on our website
  • Some classes will be limited to smaller sizes if we have an overlap of two classes running simultaneously, in two separate rooms. Please be sure to check the app
  • Washrooms will be open, however, showers will be closed, and only 4 person’s may use the washroom at a time
  • Please bring a filled water bottle as our water fountain will not be open for use

Cleaning & Safety Protocols

  • We will be using our registration via PushPress to help us track attendance as well as for tracing purposes in the event that a case of COVID-19 comes into the facility
  • We will have stations set up for our members to be able to keep a 2 meters social distance
  • Please wipe down all equipment before and after use
  • If you or someone in your family is sick, please do not come to the gym
  • If you have traveled outside of the Territory in the last 14 days, please do not come to the gym
  • If someone in your household has traveled outside of the Territory in the last 14 days, please do not come to the gym, even if they have received a day 8 negative test.
  • If you or someone in your family has taken the COVID-19 test, please do not come to the gym until you are given a negative test result
  • Increased cleaning and disinfecting of surfaces, floors, washrooms, and equipment from twice daily to six to eight times daily
  • We will require staff and members to follow all healthy respiratory and hygiene practices as explained on the HSS website
  • We will send home any gym members or staff who are sick, or appear to be sick, even if they have not traveled
  • If you have been exposed to COVID 19 please quarantine at home for 14 days
